I bought this battery in combination with the Lux Power 5kW off-grid Inverter and am using it as a UPS for permanently powering a fridge, a freezer, another combo fridge/freezer as well as a computer, network switch, router and wifi equipment. The overall load is relatively low, but this means that the battery/inverter is able to supply the load for many hours. I have been impressed with the capabilities of the battery and plan on adding solar panels soon (in order to reduce my electricity bill).

I have been looking around for a long time for a solution like this. To power my small home office (a couple of laptops and LED monitors) when we get our turn to live and work in the dark ages. It is a lot of money to spend, hence my extensive search. Let's look at a couple of things: Service: Fantastic. I logged a query on the site about this unit an within minutes I got a reply with a mobile number! What? I thought and gave it a try, and I phoned the number. Sure enough, my call was answered. I was initially interested in another unit, but after hearing what else was required to get that unit running and for what I needed, this was suggested. I read the specs on the unit, all the user reviews and I was happy to order. Ordering process: I placed the order and preferred to do the EFT option (Saved me an extra R80) and within minutes of making the payment with the correct reference, I got an email confirming my order has been processed and payment received! Very efficient. Delivery process: I got an email from the courier company about 2 hours later confirming that they have already collected the unit and it is in transit to their warehouse. I received the unit 2 days later. Brilliant service! Unit it self: well this is where I am most impressed. It is a Lithium-ion Phosphate battery with 1000W AC output. It has a DC option as well and while it is quiet that I can charge my phone on it, I think it is slightly an overkill. On day 1 I got the opportunity to test my unit. "Thank you Eishkom", You NEVER fail to disappoint us. The unit worked beautifully! Would I use this site again. Absolutely. Would I recommend it to my wife and daughter. I already have. Shopping at EcoHub has been a pleasant experience. The product was shipped promptly and I received my package soon after the purchase was made. Regarding the product, just a few minutes of browsing will convince the shopper of the quality of the product, especially compared to better priced alternatives. I can confirm that the Bluetti AC50S is a well built and user-friendly power station. It runs our television and a large fan without trouble for several hours, with more than half of the battery capacity left. Running a fan overnight does drain most of the power, but with proper planning it can be charged and ready by the next night. Too small to power a gaming PC, dishwasher or washing machine. Overall very happy with the purchase.
