The fraudulent website at ecohubza.com is no longer operational, and the immediate risk has been mitigated. EcoHub will continue monitoring the situation and will issue a new alert if this or any other impersonation site is identified.
Anyone who made a payment to the fraudulent website is welcome to contact us. We will share the information we have gathered to assist them in reporting the matter to their bank and SAPS.

ecohubza.com is a scam website impersonating EcoHub’s business. Most of its current advertising appears to focus on solar and backup-power products, but it has expanded into other categories associated with EcoHub, including Sana grain mills and other Sana products. It is not owned, operated or authorised by EcoHub (Pty) Ltd and has no connection to the genuine EcoHub business in any product category.
EcoHub published this warning after customers contacted us believing that advertisements and products displayed by ecohubza.com were connected to EcoHub. The operators have copied or closely imitated aspects of EcoHub’s product range, product listings, images, descriptions and overall business presentation. This warning therefore applies to the entire ecohubza.com website and every product advertised on it.
Our purpose is to help customers identify the genuine EcoHub website and avoid sending money, personal information or order details to an unrelated operator.

The impersonation is no longer limited to EcoHub’s solar and backup-power category. As of 2 August 2026, ecohubza.com has expanded into other product categories associated with EcoHub, including Sana grain mills and other Sana products. How to distinguish the two websites
The website addresses are different:
- Official EcoHub website: ecohub.co.za
- Scam website impersonating EcoHub: ecohubza.com
The scam domain adds the letters “za” to the EcoHub name and uses a .com domain. It is not an EcoHub website.
How the Google advertisements may mislead customers
The operators of ecohubza.com have advertised solar products through sponsored Google Shopping listings using the name “Eco Hub ZA”.
These advertisements may appear alongside EcoHub’s genuine Google advertisements, products and search results.
In some Google search layouts, EcoHub’s genuine Google Business Profile may also appear below or near an advertisement for ecohubza.com. The genuine profile displays EcoHub’s real telephone number, business information and established five-star customer reviews.
This placement may cause customers to assume that EcoHub’s telephone number, reviews and reputation belong to, or verify, the advertiser operating ecohubza.com.
They do not. EcoHub’s Google Business Profile, telephone number, customer reviews and trading history relate only to EcoHub (Pty) Ltd and the official website ecohub.co.za.
The appearance of EcoHub’s genuine Business Profile near an advertisement for ecohubza.com does not mean that the advertisement belongs to EcoHub. It also does not mean that EcoHub’s customer reviews verify or endorse ecohubza.com.
Why EcoHub is publishing this warning
EcoHub values the trust customers place in our business. Customers should be able to identify the genuine EcoHub website before placing an order, sharing personal information or making payment.
By publishing the correct website address, independent supplier confirmation, customer review links and direct contact information, we hope to prevent customers from losing money or dealing with the wrong party.
Anyone who is uncertain about an EcoHub advertisement, quotation, invoice, order or payment request is encouraged to contact us directly before making payment.
REVOV confirms that ecohubza.com is unauthorised
REVOV Energy Projects has provided written confirmation that EcoHub, operating through ecohub.co.za, is an authorised REVOV distributor and a valued REVOV customer.
REVOV has also confirmed that:
- ecohubza.com is not an authorised REVOV distributor or reseller;
- the company operating the website is not a registered REVOV customer;
- REVOV has no affiliation with ecohubza.com; and
- REVOV cannot verify the authenticity of products or services advertised or sold through the website.
REVOV further confirmed that ecohubza.com is advertising legacy REVOV R100 and R200 battery ranges. These products have been discontinued and replaced by REVOV’s current E100 and E300 E-Series products.

This letter serves to confirm that EcoHub (Pty) Ltd, operating through www.ecohub.co.za, is
an authorized and registered dealer of Hubble Energy products.
We further confirm that the website www.ecohubza.com is not an authorized Hubble Energy
dealer, reseller, partner, or representative.
It has been brought to our attention that the website is impersonating EcoHub (Pty) Ltd and

EcoHub has reported ecohubza.com, its sponsored advertisements and associated accounts to Google, relevant service providers, financial institutions and authorities.
We have also contacted suppliers whose products are being advertised. REVOV has provided formal written confirmation of EcoHub’s authorised distributor status and ecohubza.com’s unauthorised status.
EcoHub will continue providing clear verification information and assisting customers who are uncertain whether an advertisement, quotation or payment request genuinely comes from us.
This warning has been published to protect customers and establish a clear public record confirming that:
- ecohub.co.za is the official website of EcoHub (Pty) Ltd;
- ecohubza.com is a scam website impersonating EcoHub’s solar and backup-power business;
- “Eco Hub ZA” is not an authorised EcoHub trading name;
- EcoHub’s telephone number, Google Business Profile and customer reviews do not verify or endorse ecohubza.com; and
- the current impersonation relates specifically to lithium batteries, solar inverters and other solar and backup-power products.
As part of our customer-protection response, EcoHub has also run a paid Google Ads awareness campaign warning customers about the unauthorised website and directing them to EcoHub’s verified official website, https://www.ecohub.co.za. This campaign was funded by EcoHub solely to reduce customer confusion and help prevent customers from being misled or making payments to the unauthorised website.
