We are very impressed with the build quality and versatility of this portable power station. Although it is of necessity a heavy piece of equipment, the wheels and dual carry handles make it possible to move it around /position it with relative ease. The fact that it has solar charging capability is a great feature. I also very much appreciate that all the necessary charging cables, etc. have been supplied. A really worthwhile purchase.

I have been looking around for a long time for a solution like this. To power my small home office (a couple of laptops and LED monitors) when we get our turn to live and work in the dark ages. It is a lot of money to spend, hence my extensive search. Let's look at a couple of things: Service: Fantastic. I logged a query on the site about this unit an within minutes I got a reply with a mobile number! What? I thought and gave it a try, and I phoned the number. Sure enough, my call was answered. I was initially interested in another unit, but after hearing what else was required to get that unit running and for what I needed, this was suggested. I read the specs on the unit, all the user reviews and I was happy to order. Ordering process: I placed the order and preferred to do the EFT option (Saved me an extra R80) and within minutes of making the payment with the correct reference, I got an email confirming my order has been processed and payment received! Very efficient. Delivery process: I got an email from the courier company about 2 hours later confirming that they have already collected the unit and it is in transit to their warehouse. I received the unit 2 days later. Brilliant service! Unit it self: well this is where I am most impressed. It is a Lithium-ion Phosphate battery with 1000W AC output. It has a DC option as well and while it is quiet that I can charge my phone on it, I think it is slightly an overkill. On day 1 I got the opportunity to test my unit. "Thank you Eishkom", You NEVER fail to disappoint us. The unit worked beautifully! Would I use this site again. Absolutely. Would I recommend it to my wife and daughter. I already have. EcoHub gave me good advice and service. Delivery was prompt. I have only had a chance to use the outlets for normal three point plug and USB port at this stage and only had the unit for about a week so cannot comment on long term durability and other functionalities. Only charged it once so far. Booklet was confusing as it said battery picture would show solid charge once fully charged but in my case the different segments of the battery picture still moved up and down while plugged in even though unit said it was 100% charged. Once I took charger cord out the picture showed solid battery though.

I recently purchased this unit after doing a lot of research into portable power stations, as I need to stay online regardless of the incompetence of Eskom. I have bot used it to it's full capacity yet but I can already mention some its standout features compared to most of the competition: (1) It uses Lithium LFP batteries that offer >2500 recharge cycles before the batteries will need to be replaced, versus other battery technologies that offer from 250 to 400 cycles. (2) It is a heavy unit but is easily moveable due to its suitcase-like wheels and multiple carrying handles. (3) It has a very clear display that shows multiple useful items of information e.g. how much load you are placing on it, how long it will take to recharge, etc. To summarise, I am very happy with the unit and can highly recommend it to remote workers who need to stay online.

I'm running all my essentials electronics for my home business during loadshedding. Currently running a laptop, big of 3 monitors, WiFi router,standing lamp and TV, will last at least for 4 - 6 hour with of it power. Happy with the performance of the inverter. It does however charge slow using the AC power. So tip do not run it empty before the next scheduled loadshedding timeslot Have not tried the DC charging input yet.

The ordering process was completely painless - the only thing different from the 'bigger' online retailers was that the payment had to be done via EFT. All the payment details were included on the invoice and I did the payment online in about 3 minutes. Communication from EcoHub was great, as was delivery. On the product... WOW, the only thing to do after arrival was to connect the battery (which was disconnected during transport) and plug it into the mains (normal computer power cord). The battery indicator shows the current charge and the actual charging process is super quiet (we put the device in the living room next to the TV and all you can hear is a quiet fan). There are two normal three-pin output plugs to connect your appliances to, as well as four USB connectors for charging phones or power banks or whatever. Can't wait for loadshedding to start. (ie, review written without real power failure experience, but we did a 'power-drill').
